What's New in the Criminal Statutes (Dec. 5, 2013)

Featuring: Representative Keith Gingery

Representative Gingery will review DUI statute changes over the last few years with special emphasis on the new telephonic warrants. He will also look at the new Property Offense, Sexual Assault, Controlled Substances, and Human Trafficking statutes. In addition, he will be looking ahead to the 2014 Legislative Session with changes to criminal penalties, sex offender registry, Aggravated Assault, 24/7 Sobriety Program in the Circuit Courts, Post Conviction Relief, Juvenile Justice, and Title 25 changes.

About Your Speaker

State Representative Keith Gingery has served in the Wyoming House of Representatives for 10 years. He has served 2 terms as them Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the position he now holds. He has also served as the Speaker Pro-Tem and was the Chairman of the Drug Court Steering Committee when the drug courts were re-organized in 2009.  Chairman Gingery has also served as the Chairman of the Select Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. He graduated from UW Law School in 1995 and presently serves as a Deputy County Attorney in Teton County.
