This CLE focuses on investigating and litigating adult claims of child sexual abuse by authority figures in church, school and community organizations. The CLE will examine problems inherent in these cases including statutes of limitation, discovery, special client issues, unique litigation problems, ethical issues, and resolution strategies.

About Your Speaker

R. Daniel Fleck was born in Ashley, North Dakota. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1991 and the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1993. After clerking for The Spence Law Firm during law school, Dan served two years as the Director of Lawyers & Advocates for Wyoming, a non-profit public interest law firm. He began practicing with The Spence Law Firm in 1996 and became a partner in 2000. Dan represents Plaintiffs in a broad range of cases including hypoxicischemic birth injuries, Erb’s Palsy and shoulder dystocia birth trauma, medical malpractice, aviation liability (fixed-wing and helicopter), trucking and auto accidents, pharmaceutical liability, defective nutritional supplements (Olympic and Professional athletes), workplace safety, product liability and sexual abuse by authority figures. He has represented clients in over 25 states. Dan is a member of the bar in Wyoming, North Dakota, and Colorado.
