This webinar will focus on current trends for utilizing statutes, rules and the Wyoming and United States Constitutions to require a trial court to grant a Daubert hearing under its inherent and plenary power to determine evidentiary issues in a judicial proceeding, like the scope of discovery and the admissibility of chemical testing evidence.

R. Michael Vang is a partner of Fleener & Vang LLC in Laramie Wyoming. Mr. Vang is a member of the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association and has been a member of the Wyoming State Bar since 1995. Mr. Vang is a founding member of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association (DUIDLA) and is the current chairman of the DUIDLA’s amici committee. Mr. Vang is also a sustaining member of the National College of DUI Defense (NCDD) and is currently the Wyoming State Delegate for the NCDD. Mr. Vang has presented numerous CLEs within the State of Wyoming and throughout the United States explaining how to defend people accused of impaired driving. Mr. Vang’s practice focuses on criminal law with approximately 95% of his cases involving allegations of impairment by alcohol and/or controlled substances.
