About Your Speaker

Hampton graduated with his J.D. in 1977 from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California.  He was first licensed in 1978 in Nevada, where he practiced for a number of years. He served as a deputy attorney general, as in-house counsel for a bank and in law partnerships in Reno before relocating to Wyoming in 2005. The primary areas of practice of his Casper law firm are worker’s compensation, criminal, civil, bankruptcy, personal injury and family law.  Along with his legal practice Hampton has authored and co-authored several publications including “Estate Planning for Second Marriages,” and Complying with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.”  He is currently a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, Natrona County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association.
