About Your Speakers

Hon. H. Steven Brown received his JD from the University of Wyoming Law School in 1980.  He began his professional career that same year.  Judge Brown worked with the Natrona County Attorney’s Office and the Wyoming Public Defender’s Office while keeping a private practice.  In 1995 he began work at the Natrona County District Attorney’s Office.  He became a Circuit Court judge for Natrona County in 1998.  He has served on many boards and committees including the Law Mentoring Committee and the Women’s Crisis Center Board.  Judge Brown served at the President of the Circuit Court Judges Association from 1998 to 2000.

Angie Dorsch is the Executive Director of Equal Justice Wyoming (formerly the Wyoming Center for Legal Aid).  Angie attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law where she completed a joint degree program.  She was awarded a JD with honors and an MS in financial planning in December 2004.  While working as an attorney she also received her MBA from Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business in May 2008.  Angie practiced law with the firm Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas from 2005 until beginning her employment with Equal Justice Wyoming in August 2012.
