WTLA advocates for the justice/legal system in the legislature and is often the only voice on these issues including family, criminal and civil areas of the law.
To assist in electing legislators who are supportive of our issues, WTLA established a political action committee, LAWPAC, Lawyers Active in Wyoming PAC. Since 1979, LAWPAC has been working to elect candidates who support your clients, their access to the courtroom and a jury and your practices. LAWPAC works to recruit and identify candidates who will help us in the legislature and support them through contributions to their campaigns along with providing information and other assistance during the election process and after they are elected.
We need your help to continue to elect friendly candidates both Republican and Democrat, who will work with us to protect the legal system and the rights of our clients. It is much easier to elect a supportive candidate than to lobby legislators who don’t support our issues.
