When I joined WTLA, I was seeking practical resources to advance my legal career. What I discovered was an organization that provides real value for attorneys at every stage of practice. As a young lawyer, I've found WTLA's educational programs and networking opportunities invaluable. The organization offers substantive training in litigation strategies, connects emerging attorneys with experienced trial lawyers, and actively works to protect constitutional rights in Wyoming. WTLA isn't just about professional development - it's about building a community of attorneys committed to practicing law with excellence and integrity. As a young attorney, I regularly seek help and advice on litigation strategies, and I am always trying to learn more about trial skills and best practices so I can better serve my clients. WTLA provides so many programs and educational opportunities to young and seasoned attorneys alike. I also appreciate WTLA's legislative work to ensure that constitutional protections are afforded to every person in Wyoming.

I became a member of WTLA's Student Chapter as a 1L because I wanted to be a Wyoming trial lawyer. At the time, I knew little if anything about WTLA's mission or objectives. I then became intimately familiar with its mission and objectives as I flagged pieces of legislation for the Board's consideration. I am now in the early stages of my practice, and I recognize just how important it is to preserve the mission and objectives of WTLA, and I am honored to transition into a more active position within the organization to do my part in the  pursuit preservation.
